Hello to Louise and Paula

Louise completed most of her midwifery training at Forth Park Hospital in Fife, and then moved to York where she consolidated her skills in a consultant-led unit. Paula spent most of her midwifery training placements in Montrose Maternity before securing a post as a midwife at Ninewells Hospital.

Both new recruits say they firmly believe that pregnancy and birth are natural events in a woman's life, and that most women are innately designed to birth their babies without the need for medical intervention. They are therefore delighted to be working in a unit that enables them to do all they can to encourage this natural process.
