Your care (from before you get pregnant until after the birth) is provided by small teams of midwives who are kind, sensitive and skilled.

If you live outside Angus and are expecting a straightforward labour, you are welcome to consider giving birth in one of the community maternity units. Contact a midwife for more information.

Women from Angus giving birth in the obstetric units in Dundee or Aberdeen receive their antenatal and postnatal care locally from the Angus midwives.

Although we cannot guarantee you will always see the same midwife, our small teams of midwives across Angus have a similar approach to their work, so can offer you consistent support before, during and after the birth
